We use an answering machine to screen out tellemarketers. It is on ALL of the time. The machine has a speaker so we can hear what the tape is recording. Identify your self as "a fan" or "some one who is interested in Max's music". If I am home I will pick up the phone. If my wife Sue is there she will leave the message for me to hear when I get home. Don't feel discriminated against. We screen everybody!
