Ownership of these lyrics
Except for those songs labeled as "Traditional" these songs belong to me. They are my property and I own them. You may print out a copy for each member of your family who wants to sing along. But you may not hand them out at the mall, sing them in a public place, record them on any media and sell or give them away or any other means of distribution. Some people think that it's ok if you don't make money on it. Suppose you stole a car and gave it to a stranger or a friend. You wouldn't be making any money on it but IT WOULD STILL BE STEALING! If you don't want to be a thief then don't rip me off. In the case of those traditional songs, they belong to all of us so help your self.Thank you
Chorus:
When the cat's away
My wife went to visit her
Chorus
I went out of town and left
Chorus
Your wedding day you're a beautiful bride
As you stand by his side so demure.
I can not hide the regret that I feel
But I'll do what I can to endure.
Wishing success and all happiness
Your mother and I know the love you have will grow;
So just do your best time takes care of the rest
And your lives will be blessed I am sure.
Her licensing agreement is exclusive to me
It's illegal to clone copies of her
You can't borrow her even for a minute
It's strictly ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
I went to a sails convention
While she stayed home
There, a woman came on to me lookin' good
I told her I was married
She said "I'll never tell"
So I informed her exactly where I stood.
My licensing agreement is exclusive to her
I'll always play it straight never swerve
You can't borrow me even for a minute
It's strictly ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
The way some people act these days
A marriage vow don't mean a thing
They think they'll live forever and never have to pay
But we don't wanna be that way
We'll stay true all our lives
We'll have each other when they are alone, old and gray.
Our licensing agreement is exclusively
Between the parties known as me and her
You won't find a single loophole in our contract
It's simply ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
I can't forget the tension as
Chorus 1:
The day we touched the moon
It was science fiction coming true
A Sunday afternoon
When Neel, Buzz, Me and you
All touched the moon.
Later that same evening
Chorus 1
With high anticipation we
It's true there were only two
Chorus 2:
The day we touched the moon
It was science fiction coming true
It ended much too soon
When Neel, Buzz, Me and you
Departed from the moon.
* Stretch the music as much as needed to get it all in.
You say you want me more
Than anybody could.
That I should stop my fretting and relax
Before I give myself
I want it understood
If you're gonna give your love
You're talkin' marriage evermore
But you've been down that aisle before
You claim "This time it's for real"
But How can I know what you feel?
Chorus
My friends say I'm too trusting
Whatever I'm told I believe
I've been burned so now I'm wary
Do you think I'm still naïve?
Chorus
Chorus:
Mixed signals, mixed signals
Things are said and things are done
Sending mixed signals
Chorus
I went out for football, coach
Chorus
I'm so confused I don't know what
Chorus
Chorus:
Chorus
Often when I speak to others about you
I casually use your first name
I think of you as colleague and friend
But I know that you'll never feel the same.
Chorus
Chorus 1:
Since you left me all alone
I can't imagine why you left
Chorus 1
Today I came home feeling like
Chorus 2:
Since she left me all alone
